Flexx Workforce of Louisiana is currently hiring experienced 6GR Pipe Welders for upcoming industrial and fabrication projects throughout South Louisiana.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders looking for steady work, overtime opportunities, and the potential to transition into a long-term permanent position with one of our client companies after approximately 90 days based on performance, attendance, and work quality.

Many of our projects offer welders the opportunity to grow into higher-paying long-term roles with additional benefits through the client company.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6GR pipe welding according to job specifications and procedures
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and fabrication drawings
  
• Operate welding equipment safely and effectively
  
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance
  
• Work alongside fitters, supervisors, and QA personnel
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements

Requirements

• Previous 6GR welding experience required
  
• Ability to pass a 6GR weld test
  
• Industrial, fabrication shop, or shipyard experience preferred
  
• Must be dependable and safety-minded
  
• Ability to work overtime when required
  
• Must be able to pass:
  • Drug screening
    
  • Background check (when required)
    
  • Physical / fit-for-duty screening
    
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
  
• Reliable transportation required
