Alaska Esports runs three varsity teams competing in the National Esports Collegiate Conference and a facility that students make unique, memorable experiences at. The Operations and Varsity Manager will manage the three space Alaska Esports Center, manage the IT ticket system, and manage the 3 varsity teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Own the varsity competition calendar: track all match dates, submission deadlines, and NECC reporting requirements across all three varsity titles.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between team captains and program staff on competitive matters.
• Coordinate match-day logistics: facility setup, technology check, broadcast coordination with the Media Manager.
• Track player conduct and flag accountability issues to the program coordinator with documentation.
• Manage the equipment checkout system: process loans, track returns, and maintain accurate inventory records in Google Sheets.
• Conduct equipment audits at the start and end of each semester and flag damage, loss, or items needing replacement.
• Coordinate with Wood Center operations staff on facility access, setup needs, and space conflicts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must be enrolled as a UA student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student. Applicant will need to be available for the full academic year (Fall through Spring).

This is a Student Assistant 2 Position, minimum starting pay is $16.00 per hour. This recruitment is open to undergraduate students only.
